Social Enterprises

Central to successful reentry is consistent employment in jobs with a future, ones that train people up towards a career.  By working in our social enterprises, members can learn important job skills, get paid, and prepare for higher paying positions within HomeBridge or outside.  All of this while continuing to work on themselves in their healing program to make sure they stay in employment and out of the prison system.

Our first social enterprise is HomeBridge Electronics Recycling. We will refurbish, resell, and recycle used electronics securely with an environmentally certified process.  Our trainees will work with us for 18-months in an intensive program that combines classes, counseling, and group work that targets healing, soft skills, and technical training that will prepare them for the CompTIA A+ Core 1 exam.  This certification is a nationally recognized and portable credential for the following jobs: help desk tech, desktop support specialist, field service technician, help desk technician, and more.
